Zikhethele is committed to the welfare of its employees and the social environment in which it operates. To this end, the company dedicates itself to a comprehensive HIV/AIDS programme to cover both its employees and the wider community. The objective of the programme is to provide the necessary awareness, support and care for its employees and the extended community as well as to manage the effects of the pandemic in a manner that limits its impact on the company and its clients.
Skills Development Zikhethele is not satisfied with only empowering its employees at an equity and governance level but has a detailed plan to improve the skills of its employees, particularly at the lower levels, so as to allow for personal growth and for progression to higher levels within the company. This is in compliance with the requirements of the National Skills Development Strategy and relevant legislation.
